Why do you not use real life models? It is our sincere hope that husbands, brothers and fathers can purchase items for the Muslimahs in their families. We hope that not using female models will encourage them to do so. In addition, we feel that women do need to be put on show to make a quick buck. We have chosen to use a headless dummy to display products due to the Islamic rulings concerning statues. 

Do you have a catalogue? For some of our items we do have a catalogue. There is a charge for sending this out to you. Please enquire via email.

How do your clothing lines meet Shari'ah requirements? All our jilbabs/abayas are made from opaque fabric and designed to cover the body completely. The scarves and shawls are manufactured from suitable fabrics & in suitable sizes. Our elasti-bandannas help keep hair from slipping out.

Do you cater for breast-feeding mothers?  Many of our jilbab styles have been designed to cater for new mothers. Some are labelled as such and if you would like to know if a jilbab you like is suitable please drop us an email or call.

Are all your jilbabs/abayas branded? Some of our jilbabs/abayas come branded with the Muslimah Essentials Flower logo, so you know you are wearing a quality piece of clothing. If however this does concern you we are happy to advise which jilbabs do not have our logo on them.

I have read your sizing guide, but  I am still unsure about the size I need. Can you help me?Alhamdulillah we have over 2 years customer service experience and getting you the right size the first time round is our number one priority. We are more than happy to explain sizing to you over the phone or via email.

Do you sell Jilbabs for girls? We hope to bring you a selection of girls jilbabs and scarves at a later date, inshaAllah. Some sizes may be suitable for teenage girls such as 8/10 51"/130cm. 

Do you sell niqaabs and/or gloves? In the future, we may chose to include niqaabs and/or gloves as parts of the Muslimah Accessories collection.

My size seems to be out of stock, how can you help me? Due to the volume of sales and our operation of a telephone sales service, we cannot keep our website databases current. So a size that may appear unavailable may in fact be in stock, alternatively we may be able to order it for you.
